- Make a slip knot

- Chain 22

- Skip 2 chain

- 3 dc into 3rd chain

- 1 dc into the next 18 chains

- Make 3 more dc into the 3rd stitch

- Slip stitch into the 1st dc

FLAT BASE ROW 2

*Work in the round

- 2 dc into the next 3 sts 

- 1 dc into the next 18 sts

- 2 dc into the next 6 sts

- 1 dc into the next 18 sts

- 2 dc into the next 3 sts

- Slip stitch into the 1st dc

- Make 5 dc into the 1st stitch

- Pull the hook out of the loop

- insert the hook into 1st dc

- Draw the loop into the 1st dc

- Slip stitch

- Skip 1 stitch

- Make 2 dc into the same stitch

- Skip 1 stitch

- Make 5 dc into the same stitch

- Pull the hook out of the loop

- insert the hook into 1st dc

- Attach the yarn

- Cut the yarn tail
