1. Pull up a loop, and turn the work over.
2. Place the hook through the back 1st dc, and make sure the yarn tail is behind your work.
3. Grab the loop and pull through into the stitch
- Ch 2 and turn the work over
- 1 dc into the front post next to the chain 2
- 1 dc into the next 4 sts
- 2 dc into the same front post
- 1 dc into the next 16 sts
- 2 dc into the same front post
- 1 dc into the next 4 sts
- 1 dc into the next 2 front posts
- 1 dc into the next 4 sts
- 2 dc into the same front post
- 1 dc into the next 16 sts
- 2 dc into the same front post
- 1 dc into the next 4 sts
- 1 dc into the front post
- Sl st into the back of 1st dc
ROW 2-10
- Ch 2 and turn the work over
- Insert the hook into the fpdc and the chain 2 and make 1 dc
- 1 dc into the next 4 sts
- 1 dc into the next 2 fpdc
- 1 dc into the next 16 sts
- 1 dc into the next 2 fpdc
- 1 dc into the next 4 sts
- 1 dc into the next fpdc
- Sl st into the back 1st dc
Repeat the same process in the next rows
- On row 10, cut and secure the yarn
BAG STRAP
- Put a stitch marker on both sides of the bag
- Remove the stitch marker
- Attach the yarn and chain 1
ROW 1
- Make 1 sc into the next 10 sts
- Sl st into the 1st sc
ROW 2-20
- Ch 1
- 1 sc into the next 10 sts
- sl st into the 1st sc
- Sew the bag strap together
- Sew the button
